Accessibility Statement
Last updated: February 14, 2026
This Accessibility Statement is governed by the same laws and venue provisions set forth in the Terms of Use.
At Geek Strong LLC (“Geek Strong,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe wellness should be accessible to everyone—including people who use assistive technologies or navigate the web differently. We are committed to making our website, content, and products as usable and inclusive as reasonably possible, regardless of ability, device, or access method.
Accessibility standards
Our goal is to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the widely recognized guideline for digital accessibility. While we cannot guarantee that every part of the site is fully accessible at all times, we make ongoing efforts to improve usability, remove barriers, and address accessibility issues as they are identified. Accessibility is evaluated and improved using available platform tools and internal review, rather than formal certification.
How we support accessibility
We design and maintain Geek Strong with accessibility in mind, including:
Keyboard-friendly navigation
Screen reader compatibility
Clear heading structure and readable content hierarchy
Sufficient color contrast and legible typography
Responsive layouts for mobile and assistive devices
Use of Squarespace’s built-in accessibility features
We also add alternative text to images where appropriate and strive to present information in clear, understandable language.
Visual storytelling content (Patches)
Some Geek Strong content is presented as visual, comic-style storytelling, referred to as “Patches.” These posts may include multiple images, panels, or visual sequences designed to convey meaning through narrative and design.
Because fully describing every panel and visual detail in traditional alt text may reduce clarity or usability for screen reader users, we take a summary-based approach where appropriate. This may include:
Concise alternative text describing the purpose or theme of the visual content
Written summaries that explain the core idea or message of a Patch
Supporting text that conveys the intended meaning without requiring detailed panel-by-panel descriptions
This approach is intended to balance accessibility, readability, and narrative clarity while providing meaningful context to all users.
Ongoing efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review our site and content and make improvements based on:
User feedback
Evolving accessibility standards
Platform updates and technical changes
As Geek Strong grows, we will continue refining our accessibility approach across all content formats.
Need help or found an issue?

Relationship to other policies
This Accessibility Statement should be read together with Geek Strong’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other legal notices. It supplements, but does not replace, those policies.
